In our last post, we talked about three of the essential qualities of being a good leader (if you haven't checked it out already, you can read it here!) Now let's take a closer look at what separates true leadership from simple management. Hubspot recently wrote a little blog post on the topic and shared this nice infographic which captures the differences between these two seemingly similar things quite well. Check it out!

Many people take both management and leadership as the same prospect. Somehow, they sound similar, but actually, they are not. A manager has different roles and responsibilities from that of a leader. But telling honestly, I personally believe that, sooner or later, a leader can be a manager. Both managers and leaders are always concerned about the outcome, but the fact is, a leader is one who always thinks about the reason behind the consequence. In other words, I can say that people always follow a leader, whereas people work for a manager. Nobility, righteousness, strong vision, ability to take responsibilities and face challenges independently, are some of the key characteristics of a powerful leader. Truly, an organization needs both for its growth and success.
